Murray man facing several drug charges

A Murray man is facing several drug charges following a search of his home Monday night.

The Calloway County Sheriff's Office said detectives with the Narcotics Division executed a search warrant at a home on Hickory Drive at 6pm. Detectives said they found 37-year-old Ryan Stanger in possession of 2.5 pounds of marijuana, a large quantity of other THC products, psilocybin mushrooms, multiple firearms, US currency and other items consistent with drug trafficking. 

He was charged with trafficking in marijuana, traffic in a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
