Murray man charged over alleged drug transaction

A Murray man has been charged with trafficking after a reported drug transaction on Thursday.

Calloway County Sheriff's deputies reportedly saw 58-year-old Ronnie S. Guthrie tried to hand the driver of another vehicle a package in a scene described as a drug handoff in a parking lot near Lowe's in Murray. .

Deputies arrested Guthrie and charged him with trafficking in cocaine and possession of marijuana.
