PADUCAH - A Paducah woman was hurt Wednesday morning in a crash on I-24.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department says deputies responded to a crash shortly before 7 a.m. to the 1 mile marker on I-24 westbound just before the bridge.

Deputies said 56-year-old Benita Reynolds was driving westbound when her vehicle began to hydroplane. It then spun around and hit the cement median barrier, coming to rest in the center of the westbound lanes of I-24.

Reynolds was taken to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries. Westbound lanes of I-24 were restricted for about 45 minutes after the crash.
