McCracken County Sheriff's deputies responded to the intersection of Highway 286 and McKendree Church Road, where 64-year-old John McCormick Jr. had been traveling eastbound. McCormick's vehicle left the roadway and struck a metal culvert. McCormick's vehicle came to rest on an earthen embankment.
McCormick was transported to a local ER for treatment of his injuries.
