Deputies searched Lampkin's home and allegedly found a glass pipe with residue that field tested positive for methamphetamine in the kitchen area. They also reportedly found scales and plastic baggies in a small child’s bedroom trash can.
According to deputies, Lampkin admitted that he had purchased $50 worth of meth from an unknown subject at a local gas station on Paducah’s south side earlier in the day and had ingested the substance prior to the deputies' arrival.
Lampkin was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
