During a visit on Monday at WKCTC in Paducah, Kentucky Attorney General Andy Beshear announced a statewide contest called #Voice of Justice Video Contests.

The contest is a collaboration between the State Attorney General's Office and the Association of sexual assault programs to help raise awareness of sexual assault on college campuses. Students across the Commonwealth are being asked to create a thirty-second video to increase awareness of campus sexual assault, prevent by-standing, and encourage reporting incidents to authorities.

Videos will be posted on the Kentucky Attorney General's YouTube Channel. The video with the most views on the KYOAG YouTube channel will be declared the viral winner and receive a $500 cash prize. A second $500 cash winner will be chosen by a panel of expert judges.

"Campus sexual assault is one of the greatest threats to our young people. Part of what we have to do is raise awareness, and encourage those who've been assaulted to report to authorities. This contest is a way students can take that creativity that they have, especially with social media, and channel it with such an important purpose," Beshear said.

If you would like to participate in the contest upload your video, entry form and talent release form to dropbox.com and share them with the executive director of Andy Beshear's office of victims advocacy, Gretchen Hunt. Hunt can be reached by email at Gretchen.Hunt@ky.gov.

All entries must be received by April 1.
