A single-car accident early Tuesday sent a Paducah man to the hospital.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department, at approximately 2:50 a.m. deputies were dispatched to the intersection of US 68 and US 62.

Deputies said 68-year-old Richard Haneline of Paducah was northbound on US 68 when he failed to stop at the intersection.  The vehicle crossed US 62, struck a road sign and rolled over several times, coming to a final rest on its roof.

Haneline was taken to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries.
