Two Killed in McKendree Church Road Crash

Two McCracken County residents were killed Wednesday evening in a single-vehicle crash.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office says deputies were dispatched shortly after 8 p.m. to a crash in the 3200 block of McKendree Church Road. 

Deputies said 59-year-old James Krone was driving north on McKendree Church Road, when his vehicle ran off the road into a ditch and hit a concrete culvert.

Krone and his passenger, 54-year-old Sarah Krone both died at the scene.

Another passenger, a 12-year-old juvenile, was taken to Lourdes hospital. He was later taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and is expected to recover.
