A Paducah man and woman were injured Thursday evening in Lone Oak as a result of a two-car collision.

According to McCracken County Sheriff's Deputies, 39-year-old Timothy Lowe was stopped on North Concord Avenue. A non-involved motorist that was southbound in the right lane of Lone Oak Road waved for Lowe to pull onto Lone Oak Road.

When Lowe pulled onto Lone Oak Road, it was into the path of 61-year-old Deborah Swain, of Ledbetter.

Lowe and a passenger, 70-year-old Thelma Lowe, were taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries. Swain and her passenger were not injured.
