Two Arrested on Drug Charges in Paducah

A Paducah man and a Henderson woman were arrested Tuesday on methamphetamine charges that stemmed from a traffic stop.

At approximately 7:00 pm, detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff's Office say they saw a truck on Cairo Road driving in an erratic manner, so they pulled it over. After he admitted that he had methamphetamine in his pocket and inside the truck, 31-year-old Daniel Miller was arrested and charged with failure to or improper signal, failure to notify department of transportation of an address change, trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of a 2nd degree controlled substance-Suboxone, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

During a search of the truck detectives say they located additional methamphetamine and money believed to be from drug sales.

As part of the continuing investigation, detectives obtained a search warrant for Miller’s home in Paducah. The warrant was executed at approximately 11:00 pm. Miller’s girlfriend, 32-year-old Sabrina Adams, was found inside the apartment. She was arrested and charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

During a search of the apartment detectives located and seized methamphetamine packaged for sale, digital scales, marijuana, Suboxone pills and other assorted paraphernalia.

In total detectives seized approximately 50 grams of methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $5,000 and approximately $2,000 in cash.

Deputies say Miller has an extensive criminal history with prior convictions for manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and other offenses.
