Two McCracken County men have been arrested, and a third is being sought in several recent burglaries and other offenses in southern McCracken County.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department says the department had been investigating several burglaries and thefts in the St. Johns/Boaz area. On Wednesday, detectives said they began investigating leads where some of the stolen items were posted for sale on social media. They reportedly made arrangements on Thursday to purchase the items from 28-year-old Tyler Francis of Paducah.

Detectives said they later met with 27-year-old Joseph Clark at a home on Wice Church Road in McCracken County. During a search of the home, they reportedly found more stolen items, as well as suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a handgun.

Detectives later learned while questioning Francis and Clark that they had been responsible for other burglaries on Mayfield Road, Old US Hwy 45 and Mayfield-Metropolis Road. Deputies later recovered more stolen items, including a golf cart and side by side ATV. Detectives said Francis and Clark admitted to their involvement in the burglaries and thefts.

Both Francis and Clark are currently on parole for previous burglary, theft and drug offenses. Francis is charged with possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, burglary and theft by unlawful taking. Clark is charged with possession of meth, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, burglary, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.

Based on information learned, deputies said they were able to recover a stolen Kawasaki ATV from a home on Gill Lane.

Deputies said on Monday they are searching for another man, 27-year-old Devin Bell in relation to the case. Bell currently has several active warrants for his arrest. Anyone who knows where he might be is asked to contact law enforcement.
