Traffic Stop Leads to Two Meth Arrests

A traffic stop late Wednesday night in McCracken County left two men facing drug charges.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office says a deputy conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Irvin Cobb Drive and Maggie Street around 11:20 pm. During the course of the stop, the deputy was granted consent to search the vehicle.

During the search, the deputy allegedly found methamphetamine, prescription pills and drug paraphernalia. Both occupants of the vehicle were placed under arrest and lodged at the McCracken County Regional Jail.

Thirty-one-year-old Anthony Lynn, of Bardwell, is charged with DUI, possession of methamphetamine, possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, prescription controlled substance not in the proper container and driving with one headlight.

Thirty-seven-year-old Jeremy Egan, of Paducah, is charged with possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also served a parole violation warrant for absconding from the halfway house on June 10.
