Traffic Stop Leads to Meth, Other Charges

MCCRACKEN COUNTY - A traffic stop Sunday night in
McCracken County led to the arrest of three people.
According to the McCracken County
Sheriff's Office, a deputy conducted a traffic stop for a traffic
violation shortly after 7 pm. The driver, Scott Bowling, was arrested
after the deputy learned he had a suspended operator's license.
The front seat passenger, Melanie
Farmer, was arrested after the deputy learned she had three active
warrants for her arrest.
Upon searching the vehicle, deputies
allegedly found methamphetamine in the purse of the backseat
passenger, Jessica Bowling, and she too was arrested.
All three were lodged in the McCracken
County Regional Jail.
Scott Bowling is charged with careless driving
and operating a motor vehicle on a suspended or revoked license.
Jessica Bowling is charged with possession of methamphetamine. And
Farmer was arrested on three active warrants.
