The Paducah Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Raffaele Ponti, invites everyone to a special performance tonight that honors our veterans and members of the U.S. armed forces.

Prior to the 7:30 performance at the Carson Center, a meal will be served in the River Room.

Members of each branch of the military will present their flags prior to the orchestra's performance. Maestro Ponti chose inspiring and patriotic music, including three from John Williams, to highlight this salute to veterans and those currently serving.

JOHN WILLIAMS  Summon the Heroes
AARON COPLAND  An Outdoor Overture
JOHN WILLIAMS  Suite from JFK
VINCENT PERSICHETTI  A Lincoln Address (feat. City Commissioner Richard Abraham, narrator)
JOHN WILLIAMS  Hymn to the Fallen (from "Saving Private Ryan")
