By West Kentucky Star Staff
PADUCAH, KY - A report of stolen items from a construction site led to the arrest of two people.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department received a report of several stolen items on Sunday. The burglary took place at a home under construction in Livingston County. A rustic pine log bathroom vanity and copper sink were among the stolen items.

Detectives located an ad on Facebook selling a bathroom vanity matching what was reportedly taken during the burglary. They also recognized the person who had posted the item for sale, and began an investigation.

Detectives went to a home on Schneidman Road. While there, 42 year old Jennifer King of Paducah allegedly acknowledged posting the vanity for sale. Detectives say that she indicated the vanity had been stolen from her shortly before they arrived. The vanity and copper sink were reportedly found hidden on King’s property. King was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property under $10,000.

Also arrested and charged with receiving stolen property under $10,000 was 60 year old Ronald McCoy of Tiline.
