The woman sought in connection to Wednesday's stabbing has been arrested.

On Monday, officers with the Paducah Police Department arrested 36-year-old Heather M. Harp on Irvin Cobb Drive near Broad Street. Officers say they were on Paducah's south side investigating a separate incident when someone passing by provided Harp's location.

Back on Wednesday, officers were called to a disturbance at a home on Ashbrook Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found a 45-year-old man with a stab wound to his back, and were told that he had been stabbed by his girlfriend during an argument. The man was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Harp was arrested on a warrant charging her with second-degree assault. She was lodged in the McCracken County Jail.
