Some evidence in the case against a McCracken County High School student accused of recording sexual images of an underage student will be thrown out of court.

Assistant McCracken County Commonwealth's Attorney Raymond McGee told West Kentucky Star his office reached an agreement Monday with defense attorneys at a suppression hearing to throw out part of an interview with Princekumar Joshi. McGee said police interviewed Joshi for 28 minutes before he told them he didn't want to talk anymore. The interview went on for about five minutes after that, and that portion of the interview will not be used in court.

Joshi pleaded not guilty in May to a charge of using an electronic device to record or possess illegal sexual images of a minor. McGee said the agreement to suppress the evidence will not affect the commonwealth's case against Joshi.

Judge Tim Kaltenbach set a pretrial conference in the case for Friday at 9 a.m.
