A two-vehicle accident Wednesday morning on Paducah's south side resulted in six people taken to hospitals.

McCracken County Sheriff's deputies responded just after 6:30 am to Oaks Road at Sheehan Bridge Road. They determined that 36-year-old Jeremy M. Smith of Paducah was driving south on Oaks Road when he turned into the path of a car driving north on Sheehan Bridge Road driven by 52-year-old Daniel C. Howard of Benton.

Smith and his two child passengers, along with Howard and his two passengers, 17-year-old Daniel C. Howard, Jr., and 53-year-old Janice Howard, were taken to a local hospital for treatment of what appeared to be minor injuries.
