Six people face drug charges after police seized several pounds of drugs Wednesday during an investigation.

The Paducah Police Department says they began an investigation about a month ago into several people reportedly selling large amounts of synthetic marijuana. The investigation led to search warrants being served at five locations, where detectives said they found more than 13 pounds of synthetic marijuana, an additional 13 pounds of marijuana and about $6,600 in cash. Detectives said the drugs have an estimated street value of $65,000.

Police said two pounds of “Spice” and a handgun were located at 25-year-old Precious Burnside’s home; 3.5 pounds were located at 34-year-old Larry House's home; and more than seven pounds, all individually packaged, were located at 30-year-old Pierre Moore and 31-year-old Leonard Bradley’s home. In the basement of 57-year-old Dessa House’s home, detectives located scales and packaging materials consistent with drug trafficking.

All 13 pounds of marijuana and more than $6000 cash were found in the trunk of a vehicle. Moore and Bradley were out on bond at the time of their arrest. Moore, Bradley, Burnside and both Houses were booked into McCracken County Regional Jail on drug trafficking charges. Police cited 20-year-old Asia Boyd to court for possession of marijuana.
