Single Vehicle Crash Sends One to Hospital

A single vehicle accident Friday afternoon at approximately 5:20 resulted in a Paducah woman being hospitalized.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department, forty-six year-old Julia Yates was driving east in the 800 block of Clarkline Road, when her tires dropped off the right shoulder. In an attempt to get back on the road, she overcorrected, resulting in the vehicle leaving the road, turning over, and landing in a ditch. Yates was taken to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries.
