Single Car Crash Sends Teen to Hospital

A Paducah teenager was transported to Baptist Health Paducah after a single car crash Sunday afternoon.

Just before 3:00, McCracken County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a report on an injury accident at 6260 Houser Road. Upon arrival, they discovered that 17-year-old Matthew Moore of Paducah had been traveling northbound on Houser Road when his car dropped off the shoulder, causing him to lose control of the vehicle.

The car flipped at least once before coming to rest, and Moore was not wearing a seat belt at the time.

The Hendron Fire Department and Mercy Regional Ambulance Service also assisted at the scene.
