Sheriff Investigating Thefts from Several Vehicles

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department says it is currently investigating numerous thefts from unlocked vehicles in the Lone Oak and Reidland areas of McCracken County.

The thefts reportedly occurred over Thursday and Friday nights.

The Sheriff's Department says two people were arrested earlier today in connection with some of these thefts, but the investigation is ongoing.

Vehicle owners should make sure to lock their vehicles and stow valuables out of sight or in a secure area.
