Two Lone Oak residents were arrested over the weekend on drug charges.

Detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department had received complaints of possible drug activity at a home in a mobile home park on Bleich Road. After investigating for about two weeks, detectives executed a search warrant on Sunday at about 6:30 pm.

Detectives say the search revealed numerous methamphetamine pipes, some of which were hidden in a hole in the wall behind a television. Detectives also say they seized a small amount of meth.

When 35-year-old Jodi L. Gainey and 43-year-old Carl L. McGuffie were interviewed, detectives say they admitted using meth, and said they had arranged a drug transaction with another person.

Gainey and McGuffie were arrested for 1st degree trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. They were taken to McCracken County Jail.

The Sheriff's Department says McGuffie is currently on parole for felony charges related to methamphetamine.
