A two-vehicle crash on Clarks River Road Thursday afternoon caused a pickup truck to roll over one and a half times before coming to rest upside down in a ditch.

The driver, 19-year-old Marshall Dowdy of Calvert City, was able to crawl from the wreckage and was treated for apparently minor injuries at Western Baptist Hospital.

The crash happened about 4:15 pm Thursday when a Toyota Camry pulled out of the Harned’s Barbecue parking lot and struck the pickup truck in the side.

The driver of the car, 70-year-old Nola Bryan of Paducah, was not injured as a result of the crash.

The eastbound lanes of Clarks River Road were reduced to one lane for about 30 minutes while the scene was cleaned up.
