The McCracken County Sheriff's Department is investigating a reported armed robbery early Wednesday morning in the Reidland area.

Deputies responded to the Huck's convenience store on Benton Road at 5:15 am and spoke to store employees. They said two white males entered the store wearing masks that partially concealed their faces, and they demanded money from the cash registers.

One suspect reportedly had a black handgun and fired it inside the store while making demands. Witnesses say the men also took a wallet belonging to a customer in the store.

The suspects reportedly fled the store with an undetermined amount of money and cigarettes.

The Sheriff's Department said nobody in the store was injured during the robbery.

Detectives ask anyone with information to contact the Sheriff's Department at 270-444-4719 or call local law enforcement.
