Police Seek Information on Fight, Shooting

Paducah police are seeking information regarding a large fight on Saturday where gunshots were heard.

Officers were called to Langstaff Park on Langstaff Avenue where they found six bullet casings and a live round in the street and on the sidewalk.

Numerous alleged witnesses said the fight involved between 15 and 20 men, and that five to six gunshots were heard before the group scattered.

Officers were later notified that a man named Cameron Shumpert that had arrived at the Baptist Health Emergency Room with an alleged gunshot wound.  Officers said when they attempted to interview Shumpert, he was uncooperative.
