Police Seek Escaped McCracken Jail Inmate

Authorities are searching for a McCracken County Jail inmate who stole a vehicle and left a work detail Sunday evening.

McCracken County Jailer David Knight says inmate Daniel Bell stole a maroon 2000 Chevy 2500 Silverado extended cab pickup from Brooks Stadium shortly before 6 p.m. and left the area.

Bell is a white male, 6 ft 2 inches tall, and weighs about 200 pounds. He has light brown hair.  

The McCracken County Jail, Kentucky State Police and Paducah Police ask anyone who knows Bell's location to contact law enforcement.
