Paducah police would like to interview a Ballard County man about an incident Tuesday afternoon in Paducah’s west end.

Police say an officer clocked a man driving 54 mph in a 35 mph zone on Friedman Lane about 3 pm. When the officer tried to pull over the pickup, the driver didn't stop and led the officer on a pursuit from Friedman Lane to Pines Road, Whitney Drive and Huntleigh Drive before the truck got stuck. The driver then fled the scene on foot toward Buckner Lane and wasn't found by police.

The driver was described as a while male wearing dark clothing and a brown jacket. The truck is registered to 42-year-old Brian K. Doke of Wickliffe, and police say they would like to talk to him about the truck and who may have been driving it at the time of Tuesday's incident.

Anyone with information about Doke or this investigation is asked to contact Paducah Police at 270-444-8550.
