Two Paducah residents face drug charges after an investigation Saturday.
According to the Paducah Police Department, investigators were following up on a tip that drugs were sold from a home on North 12th Street. When they arrived at the home, officers saw a man and a woman getting into a car in front of the home. The man, later identified as 31-year-old Christopher Miller of Paducah, gave the officers a false name and Social Security number.
One of the K9 officers searched the vehicle and alerted to the presence of drugs inside. When officers searched more closely, they found a flashlight with fake batteries. Inside the batteries, officers found baggies of methamphetamine and Hydrocodone pills.
During a further search of the home, officers found more methamphetamine, marijuana and other drug paraphernalia.
Miller and the woman, 29-year-old Meagan Wagoner of Paducah, were arrested on drug trafficking. Miller was also arrested on charges of giving a false name and on warrants from Warren County, KY.
Both Miller and Wagoner were booked into the McCracken County Jail. Officers say more charges are pending.
