Police Arrest Mayfield Fugitive

Police have apprehended a Mayfield man wanted on several charges.

Mayfield Police said they had been looking for 31-year-old Raul Mata after he jumped bail. The department got several tips that Mata was at a home on Haven Road and began surveillance. After finding that Mata was inside the home, police entered and took Mata into custody without incident.

Mata was arrested and taken to the Graves County Jail on charges of second-degree bail jumping, first-degree fleeing and evading, and resisting arrest.
