According to Paducah police, 27-year-old Jamal M. Nance was arrested without incident shortly after 4:00 pm Friday at a home in the 1100 block of Monroe Street.
Police had warned anyone who spotted Nance after getting word that Nance was armed, and had threatened to assault police officers if they tried to arrest him.
Nance was identified as the man who broke into a southside Paducah home in mid-November and threatened its occupants with two handguns.
Nance was booked into McCracken County Regional Jail and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree burglary, fourth-degree assault and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
