The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict westbound traffic for asphalt paving along US 60/US 62 in McCracken County on Thursday.

KYTC Spokesman Keith Todd said spot paving and patching along the westbound lanes of US 60/US 62/Clarks River Road will start at the intersection at the west end of the New US 60 Tennessee River Bridge at US 60 and extend westward to the Clarks River Bridge. A paving crew will be spot patching a number of rough areas along this 1.4 mile section.

Todd said drivers should be alert for one lane traffic during daylight hours, and that appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and construction personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.

The work should take about a day to complete, weather permitting.
