Paducah Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest

A Sunday night traffic stop yielded drugs and the arrest of a Paducah woman.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department, at approximately 11:30 pm, deputies conducted a traffic stop on Herman Avenue for traffic violations. Deputies said they determined that 31-year-old Robyn L. Smith was under the influence of methamphetamine along with other illicit drugs.

During a search of the vehicle, deputies found suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, and items of drug paraphernalia. 

Smith was arrested and charged with DUI, disregarding a stop sign, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
