Paducah Summer Activities Calendar Announced

Tuesday night's Paducah City Comission meeting revealed a busy calendar of summer events.

Amie Clark and Molly Tomasallo with the Paducah Parks Service Department outlined the calendar of special events to be offered this summer and showed the new informational rack cards that will be provided to businesses, the Convention & Visitors Bureau, and other locations around town. 

LIVE on the RIVER Sounds of Summer series will be Saturday, June 4 featuring local youth, Monday, July 4 for the Independence Day Celebration, and Saturday, August 6 featuring the Big Brown Truck Pull.  

The Thursday evening Riverfront Concert Series will be held June 16, June 30, July 14, July 28, August 4, and August 18. The downtown Farmers’ Market continues to grow. This year, 50 vendors have signed up with 15 on the waiting list, up from 36 last year.  The Market is open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. with limited vendors.  A full market of vendors is on Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. until 2 p.m.  Clark informed the commission of the Movies in the Park and the Concerts in the Park events this summer.
