Paducah Police are searching for a man who may have information about a gun stolen from a table at the McDonald's restaurant on Clarks River Road Wednesday afternoon.

According to police, a man contacted them around 4:30 P.M. Wednesday and told officers that he left a firearm at the restaurant and when he returned to get it, it was gone. Their investigation revealed that a white man wearing a dark shirt and driving a silver or champagne colored Honda Accord may have information about the theft of the gun.

Anyone with information about the man's identity is asked to call the Paducah Police Department at 270/444-8550 or Crime Stoppers at 443-TELL. Tipsters also may access the online tip form through the City of Paducah website at http://paducah.gov/paducah/west-ky-crime-stoppers. Information leading to an arrest or indictment may result in a reward of up to $1,000.
