A total of 5,024 pounds of dog and cat food, 135 pounds of cat litter, and 33.5 pounds of treats and miscellaneous cleaning supplies and bedding were collected. The donations were distributed to eight area animal shelters.
PetSmart hosted this year's event.
Alisha Kay Bobo, Attorney at Law, PLLC will donate $100 for every 1,000 pounds collected. This money will go to help Dylan's Dawgz, a local spay/neuter program.
