Three Paducah residents were arrested Thursday following a month-long drug investigation.

About a month ago, drug detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff's Office began an investigation into alleged methamphetamine trafficking at a home in the 300 block of North 12th Street in Paducah. Through the investigation, detectives obtained a search warrant for the home.

On Thursday, detectives stopped a vehicle that attempted to leave the home just after 10:00 am. The vehicle was occupied by 42-year old Christopher Watkins and 50-year-old Seanna Colvin, both residents of the home.

Detectives said Watkins and Colvin were found in possession of approximately 22 grams of crystal methamphetamine. During a search of the home and vehicles on the property, detectives reportedly found and seized an additional 210 grams of crystal methamphetamine. The seized methamphetamine has an estimated street value of more than $20,000.

Detectives learned that 24-year-old Michael Lightfoot had supplied Watkins and Colvin with the methamphetamine. Thursday night, detectives arrested Lightfoot and served a search warrant at his hotel room on Cairo Road in Paducah. During a search of the hotel room detectives allegedly found evidence of drug trafficking. According to police, Lightfoot was on felony probation at the time of his arrest for a prior robbery conviction.

Watkins, Colvin and Lightfood were all arrested on meth traffiicking and other charges. They were lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
