Paducah Man Injured in Car Accident

A two-vehicle crash injured a Paducah man late Friday afternoon.



According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department, deputies say the crash happened just after 5 pm on Friday, along the 6400 block of Kentucky Dam Road. 



Sixty-two-year-old William Burns of Benton was driving in one vehicle, while 53-year-old Juan Santiago and 23-year-old Davonte Conner, both of Paducah, were in a different vehicle. 



Deputies say Santiago attempted to merge from the emergency lane into traffic and struck Burns' vehicle. Burns ran off the roadway, hit an embankment, and overturned.



Burns and Santiago were uninjured. Conner was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
