As Reilford approached the intersection with 24th Street, 32-year-old Yavonda Freeman attempted to cross all four lanes of Jackson Street to turn south onto 24th Street, causing the crash.

Reilford and his passenger, 18-year-old Aubrey Anderson, of Paducah were taken to Baptist Health for treatment, as were Freeman and one of her passengers, 46-year-old Lahoma Smith, of Hickman.
