A Paducah man was arrested Friday on drug charges.

Deputies with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant Friday at a home in the 400 block of South Friendship Road. They found 38-year-old Steven Cotton, of Paducah inside.

Deputies searched Cotton and reportedly found methamphetamine in his pocket. Deputies said they also located other evidence of drug trafficking in and around the home.

Cotton was arrested and booked into the McCracken County Jail on charges of 1st degree possession of a controlled substance.

This investigation is ongoing, and deputies say additional arrests are likely.
