A Paducah man faces several felony charges after deputies responded Wednesday morning to a report of a disturbance at a home on Cold Springs Road.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department says deputies responded shortly before 4 a.m. to a disturbance at a home in the 5300 block of Cold Springs Road. Deputies said 42-year-old Christopher Collier of Paducah was at the home armed with a firearm.

Deputies saw Collier fleeing the residence out the back door and he was taken into custody. They reportedly found a handgun concealed in his waistband.

The victim told deputies Collier had come into the home uninvited and held the firearm to her head while demanding she leave with him. Deputies said Collier also assaulted and injured the victim.

Collier was arrested and booked into McCracken County Regional Jail on charges of 1st degree burglary, 1st degree unlawful imprisonment, 1st degree wanton endangerment and possession of a handgun by a felon.
