Paducah Man Charged With Child Pornography

A man already charged with offenses involving a minor was charged on Friday with possessing child pornography.

Forty-six-year-old Gary Wiley of South 9th St in Paducah was arrested Tuesday after a 17-year-old acquaintance reported that he blocked her from leaving his home. According to the juvenile, Wiley hugged her and kissed the top of her head, forcing her to drink alcohol and forcing suspected methamphetamine into her mouth. The girl said Wiley let her go only after she promised to return.

At the time of his arrest on Tuesday, Wiley was reportedly in possession of methamphetamine and a pipe. He was arrested and booked into the McCracken County Jail on charges of first-degree unlawful transaction with a minor, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Detectives obtained a search warrant to examine Wiley's cell phone where they say they found a photograph of a juvenile female engaging in a sex act with an older male.

Wiley was charged Friday with possession/viewing matter portraying sexual performance by a minor. 

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office says the investigation is ongoing.

Wiley remains in the McCracken County Jail.
