Paducah Man Arrested on Pot Trafficking Charge

A Paducah man was arrested on Wednesday for marijuana trafficking.

On April 1, McCracken County Sheriff’s Department drug detectives and Paducah Police officers executed a search warrant at 1107 Greer Street. Detectives said that during the search they seized two cell phones, rifle ammunition, more than $2800 suspected to be proceeds from illegal drug sales and more than two pounds of marijuana.

Detectives later obtained an arrest warrant for 23-year-old Deante Brown for one count of trafficking in marijuana second or subsequent offense. Brown was located and arrested Wednesday afternoon at a Paducah business.

Brown reportedly has two prior felony convictions for trafficking in controlled substance within 1,000 yards of a school.
