On Thursday, detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff's Office pulled over the vehicle after a Paducah Police detective indicated that the driver had been involved in a drug transaction.
Detectives spoke with the driver, 43-year-old Tony Jones, and brought narcotic K-9 Huub to the scene. Detectives say Huub indicated there could be a drug presence in the vehicle. After a search of the vehicle, detectives reportedly seized 155 grams of synthetic marijuana, two digital scales, bags, and $799 believed to be the proceeds from illegal drug sales.
Jones was arrested and lodged in the McCracken County Jail. He is being charged with trafficking in synthetic marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
