A Paducah man faces a list of charges following a late night traffic stop in McCracken County.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office says deputies stopped a vehicle at around 12 a.m. on Fuller Lane in Paducah for traffic violations.

Deputies said the driver, 43-year-old Cad Dupriest, told them there were illegal items in the vehicle. During a search, deputies reportedly found a small baggy of narcotic pain pills. Deputies said they also found more than five grams of suspected methamphetamine, digital scales, and more than $1000 in cash.

Dupriest was arrested and booked into the McCracken County Regional Jail. He's charged with trafficking in meth, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended license, and traffic offenses.
