A traffic stop ended up being a drug arrest in McCracken County.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department, deputies pulled a vehicle over at around 1:30 am, Saturday for alleged traffic violations at the intersection of Hovekamp Road and John Puryear Drive.

Behind the wheel of the vehicle was 43-year-old Kevin Peck of Paducah.  During the traffic stop, deputies say they determined Peck was in possession of illicit drugs and a "probable cause" search was conducted of the vehicle for possible marijuana.  

In the vehicle, deputies allegedly found mariuana, glass smoking pipe, set of digital scales, meth, and other drug paraphernalia items.

Peck was arrested and taken to the McCracken County Jail.
