A Paducah man was arrested on DUI charges after getting stuck in a field off Cairo Road.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department, just before 11 am on Saturday, deputies responded to the 2900 block of Cairo Road for a motorist stuck in a nearby field. 

Deputies found that Charles M. Love, 33 of Paducah ran off the roadway, damaged a privately owned yard before coming to rest in a nearby field.  Damage to landscaping and sprinkler systems to the yard that Love drove through is in excess of $1,000 worth of damage, according to deputies.

During the collision investigation, deputies say Love was allegedly under the influence of an intoxicant.  Love was arrested for DUI and an outstanding warrant.  

He was booked in to the McCracken County Jail.
