According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Office, on Monday deputies stopped a vehicle belonging to 39-year-old James Dickey, who officers say was wanted on numerous warrants.
During the traffic stop, Police K9 Oscar alerted deputies that Dickey may have illegal drugs in his vehicle. Officers performed a search of the vehicle and allegedly found methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
Dickey was arrested and lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
Dickey is being charged with first degree first offense possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, first degree warrant for stalking, violation of Kentucky EPO/DVO, first offense failure to maintain required insurance.
