Two Paducah residents were jailed on drug charges after a traffic stop early Thursday.

McCracken County sheriff's deputies conducted a traffic stop on a truck in the 2100 block of Sunset Drive, driven by 18-year-old Morgan T. Henderson of Paducah. Both Henderson and a passenger, 18-year-old Taylor Henderson of Paducah, had warrants for their arrest.

Police said Morgan Henderson was operating the vehicle under the influence of prescription drugs. Taylor Henderson was reportedly found in possession of marijuana that had been packaged for sale. He was also found with prescription drugs in his possession.

Both were placed under arrest and lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail. Morgan Henderson is charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs and two counts of wanton endangerment because two children were also in the vehicle. She was also served with a warrant for contempt of court.

Taylor Henderson is charged with possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and trafficking in marijuana. He was also served with a warrant for failure to appear.
