Paducah Apartment Fire Under Investigation

Police and fire crews worked the scene of an apartment fire in Paducah Thursday morning.

The Paducah Police Department says crews responded to the fire in the 2800 block of Old Mayfield Road shortly after 7:30 a.m. Old Mayfield Road was shut down between South 28th Street and Schneideman Road for several hours due to the fire.

Investigators are working to determine the cause of the blaze.
